Feb. 8, 1846, letter from Frances H. Plummer to her brother, Temple Clark, containing news of her children, other women at the Barracks, the formation of a new regiment, and the 1st Infantry's probable relocation to Texas or Oregon. Also news of Mrs. Plummer's parents and other relatives.
